The Radionavigation service (RNS) is in line with the International Telecommunication Unions (ITU) Radio Regulations (RR) Article 1.42 〔Radio Regulations, Edition of 2012〕 a radiodetermination service for the purpose of radionavigation. This service is a ''Safety-of-Life Service'', must be protected for Interferences, and is essential part of Navigation.
